Burger Week: Stop #3 = Five Guys

Today we head over to Five Guys, a Washington D.C. born fresh made burger joint started in 1986.  Five Guys seemed to have taken a life of its own within the past few years, as more chains started opening up everywhere, and for awhile it seemed it was the burger place to go.

FiveGuys burgers are build your own style.  Also it is to be noted that their regular burgers are actually doubles.  The Little burgers are the singles.

And don’t forget the free/complimentary peanuts!

We ordered: One Bacon Cheeseburger and one Little Cheeseburger, all burgers are topped with Kraft American Cheese.

For the Bacon Cheeseburger we topped it with: Mayo, Lettuce, Tomato, Grilled Onions, Grilled Mushrooms, and Pickles

For the Little Cheeseburger we topped it with: Mayo, Tomato, Fresh Onion, and Grilled Mushrooms.

We also decided to share a regular fry since the portion is pretty big and got two regular drinks.

To be honest, FiveGuys are pretty good burgers but nothing really out of the ordinary or special, I guess you could say.  It’s hard to say it’s worth the hefty price, but for some reason the fries keep us coming back (well, the few times a year we go).

Gotta go…gotta keep chomping on burgers…!!!  Happy Eating…!
